Aston Martin, the supercar company known for its British racing green colors, is getting into the business of metaphorically green cars. Dealers are now taking deposits on the Cygnet, a small city car scheduled for sale next year exclusively to current Aston Martin owners. Commute to work in one of these, go green, and save the DB9 or DBS for special missions. 

By leveraging Toyota's tremendous energy efficiency resources (the Cygnet is basically a dressed-up version of the Toyota iQ), Aston Martin has created its first ecologically green car. The Cygnet's single-liter, three-cylinder engine could get more than 55 miles per gallon, which is four or five times better than Aston Martins with V-12 engines. 

You might say the iQ is the new Q. Dress up the body with a few trademark Aston Martin styling cues -- cloud-lift grille, hood scoops, alloy wheels -- and voila! Double-oh-seven can finally sneak around New Delhi in style.
