Slavche Tanevski, a 21-year-old art student at Munich University of Applied Sciences, has already made a name for himself in the world of supercar design. Or rather, he has made a name for Lamborghini.
"I named the car Ankonian after the type of bull famous for his black hair," Tanevski says.
The Ankonian's matte black finish is reminiscent of the Lamborghini Reventòn, but it is otherwise a fresh take on the mid-engine supercar. Rather than using what he describes as mid-engine supercar cliches, Tanevski's concept is composed of "a narrow body with a classical GT silhouette, and a complex combination of soft and angular surfaces. Instead of evoking power and aggression
through some wild graphical elements -- for example headlights -- I
achieved the same through the complexity of the main body which is
rather softly designed, and has a flair of Italian elegance, and
the angular, stealthy and sharp elements which is reminiscent of shields."
Although a 1/4 scale clay model was only recently completed, Lamborghini would be remiss not to proceed with a full-scale version.
